About the Role

This is a new role joining our high-performing power station team in Dublin 11.  The Rotating Plant Engineer will report to our Maintenance Outage Manager, and will be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of Gas and Steam Turbine rotating equipment at Huntstown Power Station.  The Rotating Plant Engineer will also work closely with the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), Siemens and Mitsubishi.

The successful candidate will provide technical expertise, oversee maintenance strategies, support project execution and drive continuous improvement to maximise performance and reliability.

 

About you

Key Criteria – What You’ll Need

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, or a time served apprenticeship with equivalent experience in a power generation industry.
  • Proven experience working with and managing large Gas and/or Steam Turbines – a power generation environment is a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrable ability to collaborate across teams.
