The Role

Energia Group have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst based in Belfast.

As a key member of the Projects team, reporting directly to the Senior Business Analyst, you will play a vital role in delivering high-impact initiatives across both Energia and Power NI. This position offers the opportunity to shape and enhance business processes while actively supporting the successful execution of strategic projects.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with business users, project teams, and technical stakeholders to analyse and improve business processes. You will provide hands-on support for project management activities, ensuring the timely and effective delivery of both business and systems projects. You will also be responsible for coordinating essential functions within the Project Management Office (PMO), including overseeing documentation and ensuring compliance with PMO policies and procedures. When required, you will take on project management responsibilities, demonstrating flexibility and leadership across a range of initiatives.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about driving change. You will be expected to champion a culture of continuous improvement and promote best practices within the project team and among stakeholders across the organisation.

What you'll need

  • Experience of working in a Business Analyst role within a project environment.
  • Experience of using a range of investigation techniques including document analysis, workshop facilitation, and analysis tools to define business problems/requirements. 
  • Experience of documentation & change management of business case, business processes and business requirements using industry standard tools.
  • Experience of building and maintaining successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure shared understanding and successful delivery.
