The Role

Reporting to the Lead Area Supervisor, these key roles will have the responsibility of monitoring, managing and reporting on the performance of both existing wind farm sites and those in development in the Republic of Ireland / Munster region and Northern Ireland. The role will be focused on our 4 pillars of operational priority – Safety of Personnel, Safety of Environment & Plant, Availability & Efficiency. The role includes on-call responsibilities for evening and weekend cover due to the 24hr operation of the assets, but flexibility is always afforded.

This role will require the candidates to attend various locations in ROI / NI as is required, (wind farms, renewable assets, new technologies) but will primarily be based either in the Republic of Ireland, more specifically the Munster region or Northern Ireland. Travel to other Energia sites and office locations will also be required, in addition to providing regular support to other site supervisors. As the majority of Energia’s assets and personnel are present in Dublin and Northern Ireland, an amount of travelling will be expected to engage with other team members on an on-going basis.

  • Broad based operational and technical knowledge of wind turbines (multi-platform, multi-OEM) with proven ability to identify faults and take action on same.
  • Previous experience of supervising electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair work, high voltage electrical networks and liaising with network companies.
  • Full, clean driving license, and a willingness to travel to other locations for various reasons as required.
  • Comprehensive level of IT knowledge/ computer skills / Microsoft Office and email.
